Hennepin County Images added to Minnesota Digital Library

Hennepin County Public Affairs recently completed its first submission of historically significant photos to the Minnesota Digital Library, a state resource making documents and images from Minnesota history available online to the public.
Through the grant-funded project, images can be made accessible and protected against the loss of historical information at no cost to the county.
After its proposal was accepted, Public Affairs chose 160 slides, negatives and photos of the Hennepin County organization, which were scanned by archivists from the University of Minnesota and uploaded into the “Minnesota Reflections” collection.
