The New Eden: Perspectives on the 1862 War

Scott Seekins will discuss the cultural and religious aspects of the 1862 Dakota War and the different perceptions and expectations of the settlers and the Native Americans. Samples of his art that illustrate these aspects of the conflict will be on display.
