Gentlemen: I am receipt of your favor of the 25th inst., asking for my opinion of the Ford Runabout. I answer to the same, I wish to say that since about April 1st, I have made 8,000 miles in my Runabout. My work takes me over all kinds of roads and I have had ample occasion to test the strength of the car time and again. I have plowed through mud up to the axle and never got stuck yet. Taking everything into consideration, I think the “Ford” is the best little car I know of for the money. I have had no trouble with it whatsoever, and I have run it at an average of 16 to 18 miles to one gallon of gasoline. The car is easily kept in repairs and is well built from end to end. True, I broke one or two front springs, but I am willing to admit that same was most likely due to my reckless driving.
If I should want a new car for the same work as in the past, I don’t doubt but that I should select a “Ford Runabout.”
